19 Year Old Student Donates to Y2K Football Team

Henrietta Kamara (in photo), a 19 year old student of Star Z Computer College in Monrovia, Liberia who is currently holidaying in Freetown, on Saturday 28th July 2012 donated assorted football items including training bibs and FIFA approved footballs to the master tactician of Y2K Football Club at the K-T playing field, Kingtom.

Handing over the items, Henrietta Kamara said she is a fan of Y2K football team and the items were to help alleviate the club’s constraints especially at a time when they are about to compete in the Kingtom inter-area football competition soon.

She assured the club that she will never turn her back from them as the club has lots of young talents who can be future superstars. “I want to be part of their history by always given them a helping hand materially, morally and financially”, she stated.

Y2K trainer, Coach Zee, thanked Henrietta Kamara on behalf of the club for the timely gesture as this is the first time a lady has ever donated football equipment to the club since it was established in 2001, adding, “We hope others who are involved in sports will follow the good steps of  the former Methodist Girl High School Athlete, as Y2K trained Premiership, 1st, 2nd,None Division and Youth Players and most of them are now plying their trade in Europe, Asia and in the United States of America”, he boasted.

Henrietta is leaving for Monrovia this weekend but promised to further support the club in its preparation bid for the Kingtom inter-area competition, which will commence on the 5th of August at the K-T field, Kingtom.
