In Mile 91…Ebola spoils Ramadan festivity

The dreaded Ebola killer disease reportedly disrupted this year’s Ramadan festivity in Mile 91, Yoni Chiefdom, Tonkolili District.

According to reports, the Local Unit Commander of the Mile 91 Police Division, Supt Rogers banned all social activities that usually characterize the Ramadan celebration.

Reports continue that the Local Unit Commander imposed a ban on the operations of night clubs and cinema halls and forbade all soccer matches as a preventive strategy against Ebola which can be easily contacted via the human interactions that take place during social activities.

Residents of Mile 91 are reported to have celebrated the Ramadan on a very low key with no soccer match, no disco dance and no film show, a situation that tainted the whole festivity.
