Commissioners for Oaths and Notary Public appointed in Sierra Leone

Bar Association President and three others appointed Commissioners for Oaths and Notary Public

The Chief Justice of the Republic of Sierra Leone,  Hon Abdulai Hamid Charm appointed the President of the Sierra Leone Bar Association Mrs Rhoda Sufian Kargbo- Nuni , the Vice President Mr Mohamed Lamin Tarawally, Human Rights  Lawyer Mr Melron Nicol-Wilson and the Director of the Criminal Investigations Department, Superintendent M B Kamara as Commissioners for Oaths and Notary Public.

The appointment was done in accordance with the provisions of the Notaries Public Act Chapter 13 of the Laws of Sierra Leone of 1960 and Section 27 of the Courts Act, No 31 of 1965.

The Chief Justice admonished the new Notary Publics and Commissioners for Oaths to discharge their duties diligently and with  regard to the laws of the country .

The ceremony was attended by other distinguished Judges, the Master and Registrar , Lawyers and members of the public .
