Big test for Lions title race this weekend thumbnail

As the Africell sponsored Salone Premier League reaches its climax, defending champions, East End Lions will be battle tested on Sunday, June 27 this year against Diamond Stars of Kono at the National Stadium in Freetown in a must win match for the host as anything less than victory for them will be crucial for them as the league leaders, FC Kallon is battling neck to neck with them for the title race.

FC Kallon have played twenty five matches and bagged fifty two points and will engage Wusum Stars in their final match on the July 4 at the Teko Barracks in Makeni while East End Lions have played twenty four matches and have fifty points and will be playing their final match on July 4 against Mighty Blackpool at the National Stadium in Freetown.

East End Lions

In today’s match Bo Rangers will host Ports Authority at the Bo Coronation Field while both relegated clubs, Gem Stars of Tongo fields will engage Golden Dragons of Magburaka at the Independence Field in Kenema while Wusum Stars of Makeni will host Nepean Stars of Bo at Teko Barracks in Makeni in the final match of the day.

Tomorrow Old Edwardians will host Freetown City FC at the National Stadium in Freetown.

All matches kick off at 4:30 p.m. prompt.
