Jonkoping Sodra converted defender, Sierra Leonean Sheriff Suma (in photo) has told Sierra Express Media why he is excited facing Malmo FF in the third round of the Swedish cup competition slated for May 11/12 2011.
“It is going to be a really exciting game and fun, playing against the Swedish champions is great for everyone that will be assign for a huge assignment, I can’t wait,” said Suma.
The draw was out on Monday evening, and after J-Sodra held 1-1 by Qviding at Valhalla IP, they will face Atvidaberg May 2 at home in their Stadsparksvallen stadium.
“I’m excited knowing I will face my former team on Monday,” he said. The Sierra Leonean is set to line up against his former team where he spent two seasons also helping Atvidaberg in the Uefa clubs competition but where eliminated by Grasshopper Zurich in the third round.
J-Southern has already played two cup matches, against Sandared and Lindome, which they easily passed both clubs to draw the Swedish Champions in the first leg tie at their Stadsparksvallen.
The reigning Swedish Champions will be a definitely hard to eliminate, however Suma is excited and enthusiastic about a huge surprise come May 11th.
Malmo has opened this season Allsvenkan with four straight wins, and lost to Elfsborg 3nil while J-Southern with three wins that includes their victory against Sandared, Lindome and Vasteras.
