As the Africell sponsored Sierra Leone Premier League resumes after a recess for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers over the weekend, we will see defending champions, East End Lions taking on the current league leaders, Kamboi Eagles of Kenema tomorrow evening at the National Stadium in Freetown.
This match is a decider between both sides as Kamboi Eagles is determined to get an all must win over Lions as they have held a winning spree over Lions for the past two seasons, while on the other hand, Lions has vowed not to lose to any team again in order to keep their fate alive in the league.
So far, league leaders are the only team in the league that has defeated the big four,- FC Kallon, East End Lions, Mighty Blackpool and Ports Authority for the past seasons.
According to soccer pundits, the easterners are currently the best team in the ongoing league as they have maintained their lead in the league from last season till date.
A win therefore against East End Lions tomorrow will definitely crown them as champions of the Salone Premier League.
Lions’ fans are now mounting pressure on them to win this match as they lie in sixth position in the league table.
