Sierra Theatre Productions ‘Let me die alone’ gets VOA review

VOA’s Viktorija Rinkeviciute reports on the play “Let Me Die Alone” and the play’s Actor/ Director David Vandy, who is also host of the VOA radio program Africa Beat, discusses his work with VOA’s Ndimyake Mwakalyelye.

The play was written by one of Sierra Leone’s most respected playwrights Kolosa John Kargbo and it is based on the life and times of ‘Madam Yoko’, one of the most powerful and respected women chiefs in Africa.  In this production by Sierra Theatre Productions, directed by David Vandy,  Sierra Leonean gospel singer  Giileh features as the leading actress.
