G 4 Security under pay Its staff

Reports on our local tabloids have revealed that the Group 4 Security Company has been treating its security personnel’s unfairly and paid them with pittance. Authentic sources have told the Sierra Express Media that a sum of $500 Dollars is received per security guard while they pay one security guard Le 150,00 to 200,000 which is unfair. Concerned Sierra Leoneans are calling on the Anti-corruption commission to investigate this cheat at 4 securities Agency.

Bravo Mac-P more criminals arrested

Sierra Leoneans have raised eye brows over the rampant armed robbery that has married Freetown and the entire Salone. But as for now, citizens are appreciative of the success of “Operation Mac-P” in nabbing armed robbers. The public is also involved in providing credible information as to where criminals are harboring. With reliable information the police will be able to crack down on these hard core criminals.

Procredit in witch hunt

The Private Monetary Institution is said to be in a witch hunt game on its employees. Reliable information given by former employees has revealed that the Human Resource boss is in the habit of marginalizing employees who hail from the North and Western parts of this country and are being sacked for no tangible reason. The Human Resource head, Agnes Konneh Massaquoi is said to have been engaged in regional biasness.

War wounded receive micro-grants 

On 12th November, 2009, amputees and victims of the Salone war were blessed with micro-grants. Initially, they had received the sum of Le300,000 each as part of a government programme by National Commission for Social Action (NACSA). The cash is aimed at improving the livelihood of the war wounded. Those who did not lose both arms and legs will start small scale farming while others will be engaged in petty trading. The grant recipients told Sierra Express Media that they really appreciate the goodwill gesture, but added nothing will delete the gang rapes incurred in the war neither fix back their limbs.

Madam Torto’s right violated

Madam Elizabeth Torto has been marginalized and made inaccessible to the chieftaincy throne because of her being not a member of the Poro Society. This chieftaincy election impasse is said to have occurred in the Nimiyama chiefdom, Kono district where Madam Torto has been sidelined for the chieftaincy symbol. Madam Torto insists that she has the inherent right to the throne and also the constitution of Sierra Leone and Act No8. Sub-section 1B grants her that right.
