APC Chairman says Conference Success goes beyond political affiliation

Leslie Allen said he was at the conference not as a politician but as a Sierra Leonean who is desperate to see Sierra Leone move on – and as a branch, “we want to endorse President Koroma’s vision for change in Sierra Leone.”

He said the outcome of the conference was a manifestation of the President’s Agenda for Change and a stepping stone for all Sierra Leoneans.

He said the vision of the President has been exhibited and that Sierra Leoneans should now look forward to its implementation.

He called on investors to go into Sierra Leone and invest adding: “you have to be with us and help implement the changes we are looking forward to – we want your physical presence in Sierra Leone to see for yourself.”

Leslie also called on every well-meaning Sierra Leonean with credible investors to encourage them to go to Sierra Leone and invest so that the people of that country will benefit.

President APC Texas Chapter Nanette Thomas, expressed her excitement over the success of the conference adding that the President has succeeded in putting Sierra Leone on the world map.

She said the fact that the country has Tony Blair and Prince Charles to endorse and support the government’s vision is a major success for the government of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
