Investigation carried by this press revealed that the Kissy village cemetery at Passonage Street has been tagged as a ‘warehouse’ for thieves.

Sources say nevertheless that it has become the store for stolen items.

Revelations are that graves at the said cemetery are used as ‘warehouse’ for stolen items and dangerous weapons by night thieves/robbers.

Inmates of Passonage Street, Macauley Street who whispered to our reporter said also that a garage situated at Macauley Street opposite the graveyard has been identified as the meeting point of night criminals.

Residents of Passonage Street have however expressed concern over the continued presence of garages within and around the forenamed cemetery.

Chairman Police Partnership Board Kissy, Mohamed Kamara confirmed to our reporter that Kissy Police has been informed of dubious occurrences at the Macauley Street garage and the Passonage Street cemetery respectively.

That security measures will be soon put in place to combat crimes at those areas.

Unconfirmed revelations also have it that some businessmen selling motor spare parts in Kissy have had dealings with night thieves.
