Build up of HANCI’S child adoption crisis

Build up of HANCI’S child adoption crisis thumbnail

Many a time I ponder what school of thought we have in this country, because we are always strange bedfellows. This brings to mind the common saying: sleeping near fire is not a bulwark to eat meat that slept near it. This concerns us with the issue of HANCI and the man who is bashing President Koroma for allowing Dr. Foday Kargbo to declare his candidacy for a Member of Parliament position. In the eyes of the law, an individual is considered innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.

It is unfortunate that our politicians are stooping too low with their electorates to allow them sale of their vote casts. To vote and be voted for are a franchise right which have nothing to do with the inquest report. Threatening not to vote because of an inquest verdict is nothing but a cheap blackmail. However, one thing to set clear though is the issue of timely justice and parental jurisdiction. I don’t think there is wry observation about the inquest process which ran through it normal order routine. What is either lacking is the fact that a hungry man needs food. Those who are seeking justice deserve it and it would be based on facts available during the course of investigation. One parallel line is running through the ideas of the alleged parents at the moment and that is thinking that the inquest is all about set to convict HANCI.

HANCI on the other hand deserves no insult because they are not criminals. They are running an NGO that is legal and have possession of all line ministries documents approving their legality.
