The Chairman of Eastern Region Football Association, Mr. Morrison Sannoh (in photo) has revealed to Sierra Express Media Sports that plans are underway to commence the Eastern Region competitions.

“I’ve already informed all club officials and their clubs are currently undergoing intensive training sessions and very soon we’ll have a family meeting as to when we’ll commence all competitions”, he said.

Chairman Sannoh recently donated footballs and jerseys to the first and second female clubs of Kono, Kailahun, and Kenema districts with promises to do more in the future.

In a football family meeting held in Kenema, Morison told football stakeholders that he is delighted to have recorded great achievements in his first year in office and that he is able to provide his region a secretariat and motor bike to run the affairs of football in the region.

He appeals to all to be peaceful and work in the interest of developing football in the region.
