Akmed Femi Mansaray a philanthropist Sierra Leonean based in England, who is currently in Sierra Leone, has donated 100 uniforms to the naval unit of the Republic of Sierra Leone’s Armed Forces. The items were received by the Navy Commander D.S Mansaray at their Murray Town base.
Lieutenant–in–Command Hassan J Conteh said the donation was the first in the history of the Navy as nobody has ever done such before.
In another venture, Akmed Femi Mansaray donated used clothes, television sets, three desk top computers, and a 5KVA generator to youths, chiefs and the school of Wara Wara Bafodia Chiefdom.
District Chairman Dr. Fasineh Samura thanked Aked Femi Mansaray for his kind donation of a desk top computer and a digital camera, four bicycles, and used clothing to the district.
