The ceremony took place at the office of Sierra Express Media at 13 Pademba Road, Freetown.
Announcing the scholarship offer Ada Baby said the offer comes from her personal purse and is done to add her contribution to the country’s strides to educate her young folks.
The recipient pupils went home excited over the offer and parents and guardians in appreciation of the gesture said on Tuesday that the scholarship is a dramatic twist in the history of the twenty five needy school going children.
Adama Sheriff is known as a philanthropist and over the time has engaged in circumcision of one thousand male children in the capital Freetown. She has been donating bags of rice to the amputees in their various camps at Grafton in the east outskirts of Freetown.
Adama is an international business woman and has announced plans to establish a school in Freetown on Cosmetology, Trauma Healing and Counseling, Basic Literacy, Information Technology ,and Vocational Studies.
