Premier League battle, EE Lions roar at Johansen thumbnail

In the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier league on Tuesday 17th April 2012, Mighty Blackpool were held to a goalless draw by Central Parade at 5:00 pm and EE Lions defeated FC Johansen 1-0 in the 7:00 pm match.  Both matches were played at the National Stadium.

The lone goal was scored in the 1st half by Siray Jah after volleying the ball past FC Johansen goalie.

Both teams were impressive throughout the match but missed goal scoring chances.

The victory had put EE Lions, Ajina Sesay he said he is delighted with the victory and assured all fans that the team will in the 2nd round challenge the likes of FC Kallon, Diamond Stars, Old Edwardians and FC Johansen for the title.
