Information on President Koroma’s Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiatives (EITI), Keifala Marrah (in photo), reveals that he purchased a duplex in Northwest London at 46 Talbot Hendon worth in the region of £650,000 in cumulative value of (Le 4.5 Billion).
The source states that the State House chief used Azarvale Ltd, an offshore company with a questionable reputation, based in the United Kingdom to secure the building.
Many Sierra Leoneans have reacted to this news considering the fact that Keifala Marrah decides to make a comfort for himself out of monies sliced from the national cake.
Doubts have been raised as to how the State House chief is able to raise such a huge amount of money within this shortest possible time upon assuming office.
Many are pointing fingers to his appointment as the chairman of (EITI) to have being the safe heaven of his predatory trap to flourish with state resources unchecked.
The message on the lips of many Sierra Leonean is the hounding of state resources by state officials who are making delight out of the masses’ suffering.
