Coal Farm’s 1-0 victory over Aberdeen FC on Wednesday April 18 at the Grassfield playing field secures them a spot to the semi final in the ongoing Non Violence and Awareness Raising gala co-sponsored by Thomas Daddy Brima and John B. Tucker. Mafa and Coal Farm have both won two matches.
Aberdeen and Murray Town are still point less and victory for both teams is not enough to qualify them.
In today’s match Mafa will play their final group match against Coal Farm to decide the group’s leader.
Wilberforce will engage Brookfields on Saturday April 21 in the final group matches. Aberdeen will play Murray Town for the 3rd place on Sunday April 22nd.
The semi final matches will be played on the 24th and 25th of April, while the grand final is slated for Friday April 27.
The champions will grab the sum of four million Leones, Runners up the sum of Two Million Leones and the best behaved team will receive the sum of five hundred thousand Leones.
