Leone Stars friendly, 16 foreign players invited thumbnail

Leone Stars Coach, Lars Olof Mattson has invited 16 foreign based players ahead of the Iraq, Jordan International friendly matches scheduled to be played  in Turkey on the 22nd and 26th of May, 2012.

Coach for the home based squad; John Keister has also put in place 20 players to add up a squad of 36, plus 10 officials who will be traveling with the team on Monday May 21st.

The foreign based players are expected at the training ground this week to mature their preparations ahead of their encounter. The 16 include:

  1. Ibrahim Kargbo (FK Baku, Azerbaijan)
  2. Umaru Bangura ( FK Haguesund, Norway)
  3. Sheriff Suma  (FK Ravan Azerbaijan)
  4.  David Simbo (Bodens BK Sweden)
  5. Ibrahim Koroma (Trelleborg FF, Sweden)
  6. Samuel Ballay (FK Ravan, Azerbaijan)
  7. Mohamed Kamara (Partizan Belgrade, Serbia)
  8. Alfred Sankoh (Storms godset IF, Serbia)
  9. Gibrilla Woobay (AL-Masry, Egypt)
  10. Khalifa Jabbie (Fredristad FK, Norway)
  11. Kei Kamara (sporting Kansas City, U.S.A)
  12. Mustapha Bangura (Apollon Limassol, Cyprus)
  13. Ibrahim Bangura (Bursaspor, Turkey)
  14. Alhassan Kamara (Alk Stockholm, Sweden)
  15. Mohamed Bangura (Celtic, Scotland)
