Players of the National Team, Leone Stars have assured that the nation of victory in their game against Sao Tome and Principe on Saturday 16th June 2012 to be played at the National Stadium in Freetown. Leone Stars are playing their second leg knockout in the tournament to qualify for South Africa 2013 Nations Cup qualifiers.
According to the players they are in good spirit preparing to knock Sao Tome and Principe out in Freetown to proceed into the next stage of the tournament.
Speaking to team captain, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo, he told Sierra Express Media sports that president Ernest Bai Koroma spoke to the entire team on Wednesday evening and doubled up their motivation bidding them victory ahead of their encounter.
He said the president has always given his support to the team on a general note and to the player on a personal basis, thus behaving like a real father.
Below are names of some of the key players expected to make the first eleven for the national side in the weekend encounter.
