To further ensure that the elections process is transparent, President went through the verification exercise as stated by the National Electoral Commission.
Like any other citizen, President Koroma was taken through the process by the Exhibition Officer Sidique Bangura who ensured that all his particulars were in order before handing over the President’s Voter ID card.
After receiving his voters’ ID card President Koroma said that the process was authentic and credible and that it was his civic right to go through the entire process like any other Sierra Leonean. He noted that although there were challenges facing the process, all eligible voters should be encouraged to go through the process and get their cards which will ensure they cast their ballots when the time comes.
