The Sierra Leone Bottling Company yesterday 12th July doled out prizes to lucky winners at their head office.
Winner of the motor bike, Josephine Jabati (in photo), of Femi Turner Drive, Goderich, Freetown expressed her happiness for being the lucky winner pointing out that she was quite surprised to win this prize amongst the competitors.
Another lucky winner Mike Lamin of Kissy Dock Yard, won the LCD TV. In his interview, Mike said that Vimto has always been his brand of drink and to have won a prize for his most coveted drink is a good thing. He noted further it was by chance that he came to be the proud winner of the item as he was not expecting such a reward as he had almost thrown the cap away before he discovered that he had won an LCD TV. He encouraged everybody to drink more Vimto!
In his opening speech at the prize giving, the Public Relations Officer, Michael Yambasu, said that this is the first set of people to have won so far. He encouraged customers to drink more Vimto as to enable them to win prizes like the lucky winners!
Also speaking on this occasion, the Commercial Manager, Thomas Tingan, said there are so many prizes to be won during the ongoing promotion, and he cited that this promo which was launched on June 30th will continue for a period of three months.
Thomas revealed further that the Sierra Leone Bottling Company has about 30,000 items to give out to their beloved customers. He went on to list the winning items such as Vimto, LCD TV, oil, DVD player, mobile phone, Sonitec radi,. 50kg bag of rice, and the motor bike.
