The meeting is to reach a consensus on how these youth organizations would implement the programmes generated by NCD on volunteerism.

Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Abu Bakarr Kargbo said that the commission cannot simultaneously reach out to everybody but by collaborating with volunteer organizations the commission would definitely reach the people in all the regions.

He stressed that the commission urgently needs partners in order to embark on civic education  not only for the forth coming elections but for other activities such as democratic process in the country.

Dr. Kargbo reiterated that the role of the Commission is to sensitize and engage in public education for Democracy to thrive. He emphasized that democratic good governance is pivotal in any civilized nation state.
