The Honorable Minister of State East, Hon. Williams Juana Smith (in photo) over the weekend outlined developments made by the president of the republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for the past four years in power.

The resident minister registered his statement during a mini press conference held at his Maxwell Khobe Street office. Outlining the developments, Williams Juana Smith said that it is during President Koroma’s reign that Kenema City has been able to get coater streets (Combama Rd, Kingsway Street, Humonya Avenue, Sumalia Street and Kaisamba Terries), road from Kenema-Pendebu Highway, Mansegbe-Kono Highway, Makeni-Freetown Highway, Kabala Highway, Bo–Kenema Highway, Freetown-Bo Highway, Port Loko -Lungi Highway, among others, and free health care.

W J Smith reiterated that it was during President Shaka Steven’s time that the Kenema clock tower and the Kenema city hall construction started and construction only continued when President Koroma took up office.  He went on to say that the main opposition SLPP are speaking unbelievable statements that all projects that been done by the APC government, they left the funds which he said the APC government does not believe in pipeline projects but rather the APC believes in  reality and not pipeline.

He concluded by saying that if the main opposition SLPP were saying that, Kenema and Kailahun let them have it in their mind that they no longer have stronghold in the south/east of Sierra Leone but rather it is sharable.
