SLPP Councilor Judgment Adjourned to August 14th 2012 thumbnail

Magistrate Komba Kamanda of Court No 2 on Monday 6th August 2012 deferred the judgment hearing of the case involving the Sierra Leone People’s Party Councilor at Constituency 104 Mohamed Kanu Mansaray (in photo) and three others, to Tuesday 14th August 2012.

Magistrate Kamanda told the court that he is yet to complete the judgment, saying that the adjourned date is in light to follow the full length of justice.

All four accused persons were present in court to hear the judgment.

The accused were charged for kidnapping and other relating crimes earlier this year just after the Mohamed was elected into office under the SLPP banner in Constituency 104 which falls in Fourah Bay, Freetown.

Speaking to the press the accused councilor Mohamed Kanu Mansaray said he is in a conflict of dilemma not knowing what would be the outcome, he said further he is desperate to know the outcome of the judgment before the November 2012 polls.
