Speaking at the closing ceremony of Airtel Rising Stars tournament, Airtel’s Commercial Director, Keith Tukei said Airtel has a lot of passion for football and will continue to create a platform where young people will develop their talents. He maintained that the two winning teams will represent the country in Nairobi, Kenya at the Pan African tournament. Keith promised that season III of ARS will be a bigger tournament.

In his statement, the President of SLFA, Mr. Nahim Kadi said that Airtel has set a pace by promoting football in the country. Mr. Kadi said he greatly appreciates the efforts of Airtel as they bring together  young talent across the country.

In his remarks, the Minister of Youth, Employment and Sports, Hon Paul Kamara thanked Airtel for the succession of ARS Tournament Season II as this has lessened some burdens of the SLFA.  Airtel has shown the whole nation that the country was full of young and ambitious potentials that can bring smiles to the nation. The two winning teams were celebrating as Airtel will be traveling with them to Nairobi Kenya for the Pan African under 17 tournaments.

GIRLS

  1. Mamoud FC…….Trophy + Le 2 million
  2. Rising  Queens….Trophy + Le 1.5  million
  3. Southern Queens…Trophy + Le 1 million
