CORDAID to Award Organization on HIV Support Initiatives

The Catholic Organization for Relief and Development Aid (CORDAID) issued a nomination request for organizations showing outstanding commitment and leadership in implementing support initiatives for children living and affected with HIV.

CORDAID is an international development organization with a network of partner organizations in Africa, South-east Asia, and Latin America.  This organization has existed for over 90 years, and boasts a wealth of experience and expertise in emergency aid and structural poverty eradication.

CORDAID plans to award the most outstanding organization nominated with an award prize of €10,000 (ten thousand Euros), which will serve as motivation to nominated organizations in their selfless effort in breathing a new life into children suffering with HIV

The organization seeks to help raise external funding for HIV organizations and greater expectations (value for money) at national and international levels and also seeks to observe towards increased local resource mobilization.

The organization’s awards will offer opportunity to gain greater insight into how local resources are mobilized and used in relation to sustainable care and support initiatives for children living and affected with HIV.

The contact person of the award winning nomination shall be notified by email no later than the 5^th of November, 2012.  A message will be posted on the CORDAID website (www.Cordaid.org) on the 30^th of November announcing the award winning organization.
