Real Mack FC, a Western based club, on Wednesday defeated Kantha FC 1-0 in the ongoing Central One Football Association, Non-Division League at the Parade playing field, Freetown.
The lone goal was beautifully scored by Osman Conteh, from a cross from the left flank corner in the mid of first half (1st).
Both teams played well in the second half (2nd ), Real Mack FC was having a water tight defense which allowed them keep a clean sheet over their comfortable 1-0 zero win against Kantha.
Speaking in an interview withSierra Express Media Sports, the Real Mack Club Chairman, Mahmoud Mackie, said he is delighted with the victory and thanked the players, technical team, executives, and supporters for the Club’s achievement. He added that the club is also doing well in the ongoing Closet League at Lungi and the John Monrovia League at Juba Barrack.
He said he hopes the players will continue their winning ways and clinch a trophy at the end of the 2012 football season.
Real Mack FC will engage Luawa FC on Wednesday 15th August at Parade field, a win in this match will automatically qualify Real Mack FC to another stage of the competition comprising of youthful teams across the Western Area.
