The Airtel Rising Stars winning teams flew to Nairobi, Kenya past Friday 17th to represent the country in the U 17 Pan African tournament.

The winning teams Mahmoud FC and Edward Michael Foundation FC were dressed in Airtel kit at the Government Wharf where they took off with Sierra Ferries.

The two teams proved well since the start of the tournament and Airtel has no doubt in making the country at large proud in the U 17 tournament in Nairobi. The trip will last for two weeks. This is an all expenses paid trip by Airtel including $50 per diem for each player per day.

Speaking to Rashidatu Kamara of Mahmoud FC during their departure at Government Wharf, she promised Airtel and Sierra Leoneans that the two winning teams will make them proud by bringing home the trophy.

Airtel Rising Stars Season III  will be bigger and better, confirmed Brands and Communication Manager, Mustapha Katta.
