Brima Keita Second Rounds to Commence this Weekend thumbnail

The much trumpeted Brima Keita second round football competition will kick-off on Saturday 23 September, 2012 at the K-T playing field.

16 teams will be involved in the knock-out matches, Janet Lane will engage Crab Tong and on Sunday 24th September Kroobay will battle against Big Barrick FC.

Qualified teams taking part in the second rounds are Kroobay, Berwick Street, Congo Market, Krootown Road, Janet Lane, Bike Riders Union, Byne Street, Y2K, Hennessy Street, Bololo FC, Premier FC, Grey Bush, and 4 Best Losers.

Speaking to the sponsor of the competition, Brima Keita, he said he is delighted with the performance of the players, the behavior of fans, and hopes to maintain it to the grand final.

The champion will receive the sum of Le 3 million plus trophy, runners up the sum of Le 1.5 million plus trophy, and the 3rd place winner will bag the sum of Le 500,000 and other individual prizes, he boasted.
