Rousing Welcome for SLPP Strong Man thumbnail

Thousands of SLPP supporters from all walks of life in the western urban area gave a rousing welcome to their parliamentarian to be, Mr. Mohamed Munjirun Jah of Constituency 98, on his return from a three month visit to various states in America.

Munjirun Jah was received from Rokuprr where a convoy of vehicles, bike riders, youths, and women paraded along the major streets within the constituency together with the three SLPP intending councilors that will be contesting the local council elections in November this year, on to his residence at Jah Street, in the Wellington community.

Speaking at a jam-packed meeting, the Chairman of the East District Mr. Mohamed Kamara aka Med Kay, said the presence of the huge crowd is a clear manifestation that Munjirun Jah is the next MP for the constituency come November 17th.

The chairman of Constituency 98, Mohamed Pajero, gave an overview of the party activities in their constituency and assured Munjirun that while he was away the party mustered a lot of supporters from other parties who have vowed to vote Maada Bio to State House and you Munjirun to Parliament.

Addressing the joyful crowd Munjirun Jah thanked his people for the large turn-out which he said is very encouraging.

He called on Sierra Leoneans to continue to pray for the peace and stability of the country before, during, and after the November elections.

The SLPP aspirant requested the people to pray to God to touch the heart of the officials of NEC and other stakeholders responsible for the conduct of the election to ensure that the process will be open, free, fair and transparent.

He added ‘that when the results are declared, the winner will know that he has won and the loser will admit that the people indeed did not vote for him’’.

According to Munjirun abject poverty currently abounds in most places in the country and he lambasted the APC government for doing nothing to improve the lives of Sierra Leoneans.

He assured the people that all is not lost; as God has chosen Maada Bio under the new direction to change the lives of the people come November 17.

Congratulations Mr. Mohamed Munjirun Jah. His name is Jah. Does that sound tribalistic? SLPP the only way forward. One Country! One People! The New Direction.
