The Salaam Clinic of Africa Muslims Agency has donated free multi-vitamin Marklate to under five children and lactating mothers at Kossoh town, Western rural areas.  Over 100 children and lactating mothers benefited from the 3 day activities especially for the western area.

Speaking to this press, director for Salaam Clinic at Africa Muslims Agency Amr Emad Gomaa said that the multi vitamin  will boost the growth of children at Kossoh town, most of who don’t have access to vitamin drugs. The AMA Salaam Clinic director also noted that in order to complement President Koroma’s health target, the clinic has reopened to provide cost effective health service to the people of Grafton, Kossoh town and Jui. Adding that there is registration or consultation fees for patients. The clinic will also provide medical attention to 150 orphans hosted at the AMA orphanage at Kossoh town.  The clinic is the first by a Muslim agency at Kossoh town.

AMA is also operating a primary and secondary school, technical, vocational institute for sewing and tailoring, adult education, a mosque, library and a National Secretariat at Kossoh town.

AMA has branches in Lungi, Kenema, and Makeni in Sierra Leone; and in 30 countries globally.

The agency also provides scholarship benefits to students in other higher institutions.
