JSS pupil murdered

JSS pupil murdered thumbnail

Alusine Kamara of Savage Square allegedly murdered Sallay Kargbo who resides at Wharf Road, off Cline-town, Freetown, on Sunday 7 October at around 7:30 pm at the Bishop Johnson Memorial School compound at Fourah Bay Road.

Sallay Kargbo who is believed to have been rehashing with a film company at one of the classrooms at Bishop Johnson Memorial School, left the rehearsal group to use the toilet and took her long to return which lead to a search for her by her filming friends which revealed her dead body lying on the ground besides the toilet. The police was immediately informed and responded likewise in removing the dead body from the scene while investigation commenced.

According to the Local Unit Commandant at Ross Road Police Station, Mr. J.A Gbonnoh investigations in collaboration with the Local Policing Partnership Board and the people in the community gave vital information to the police leading to the arrest of the suspect Alusine Kamara.

Alusine Kamara who is presently in custody for murder allegation is presently helping police in their investigations. The remains of the deceased, late Sallay Kargbo have been convened to the Connaught Hospital morgue for postmortem after which she will be buried.
