Equatorial Guinea Tourism Portal Launched In NYC

Booking tours to Equatorial Guinea will be offered for individuals, schools, associations and business groups with a strategic itinerary to meet your objectives. In addition to offering bookings for tourism, businesses have a low cost opportunity to advertise their services on this portal. For U.S. passport holders, no visa is necessary.

In celebration of the 44th Anniversary of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, from October 12 thru 14, when you “like” facebook.com/spiritofmalabo, your name will go on the ocean rowboat christened “Spirit of Malabo”. You can also follow  twitter.com/spiritofmalabo to get your name on the boat.

This vessel will be used for a five-thousand mile charity row for HIV/AIDS from Las Palmas, Canary Islands to New York City later this year. Equatorial Guinea – A country whose development grows day by day

Equatorial Guinea gained independence on October 12, 1968 after 190 years of Spanish rule. President Teodoro Obiang Ngiang Mbasogo has led the country since 1979 and driven development with resounding success. In the US, Equatorial Guinea has representation in Washington, D.C., New York and Houston.

Equatorial Guinea has experienced rapid economic growth due to the discovery of large offshore oil reserves, and in the last decade has become Sub-Saharan Africa’s third largest oil exporter. Equatorial Guinea is located on the western coast of central Africa. Its capital and main port, Malabo, is located on the island of Bioko, off the coast of Cameroon. The mainland territory of Equatorial Guinea is bordered by Cameroon and Gabon. The principal city on the mainland is Bata. The official language is Spanish.
