Khalil Lakish Misses the Point

The Managing Director of Landmark Travel Limited, Mr. Francis Lamboi, has described allegations made against him in a local tabloid by the Managing Director of Karl's Travel Agency, Mr. Khalil Lakish, as baseless and unfounded, meant only to create mischief and misinform the public.

He said Khalil Lakish who is the General Sales Agent of Astreaus Airlines was out to attack his personality because he was afraid of the competition they were engaged in.

Mr. Lamboi said he felt very disappointed for Mr. Khalil Lakish to disclose that he helped him to set up his business which he describes as mushroom travel agency and said he was running a standard travel agency which he described as one of the most recognized travel agencies in the country.

Mr. Lamboi noted that it was very unfortunate for Mr. Khalil Lakish to refer to a professional like him as Jack and Jill.

The Landmark Chief stated that Mr. Lakish should realize that Landmark is not a sole proprietorship but a Limited Liability Company and challenged him that if he had anything against him he should have taken the matter to court.

Mr. Lamboi advised Mr. Lakish not to abuse the privilege accorded him by the government and people of this country to give him Naturalized Citizenship status.

Mr. Lamboi concluded that he had worked for over a decade in the travel and tourism industry and had enough experience to operate efficiently and effectively in the industry.
