Kallon Excelling in Athens
Sierra Leone's and Leone Stars' most sensational soccer Captain, Mohamed Ajay Kallon. who plays for French outfit AEK Athens
has on Thursday, April 24 again scored another goal for his side when they thrashed Painonsis Athens 5-0 in Athens.
Kallon
who scored the fifth goal in that match made splendid contributions to the other goal scorers before he finally got his own
in the 78th minute.
Kallon who was recently awarded the Best Goal Scorer by his club executive
has played five matches and has three league goals to his credit and he has now been signed to play the remaining league match
for Athens.
The former Inter Milan, Monaco and Al-Itihad hit man who signed a six month
contract with this side has attracted other rivalry clubs in Greece to fight for his signature.
According
to the player himself he is happy at the club, adding that he is focusing ahead to help the club to qualify for the European
Champions League next season.
"I want to see Athens at the Champions League next season," the 28year
Leone Stars’ Captain said.
Kallon further said that with all these contributions he is hoping for the
club to land him on a long-term contract that will make him a real hero in Athens.
The club
website says "Since Kallon joined us he had made many meaningful contributions to our success as he has given us three
goals on different appearances. We hope to make this utility Sierra Leonean happy here".
Meanwhile
Brazilian Alvelcro Rivaldo, Argentine Ismeal Blanco and Sierra Leonean Mohamed Kallon have embarked on extra training in order
to see the club in European competition next season.
