Dream Team boosts U-20 Le 1.5 Million

 

The dream team which comprises of active sportsmen who have formed an alliance to change the status of football in the country and also have shown interest in contesting the forthcoming SLFA football congress election in May have over the weekend boosted the national U-20 Shooting Stars with items worth Le 1.5m at their camp at the Sierra Leone Football Academy at Kingtom, a motivation for their away encounter with their Senegalese counterpart in Dakar.

 

The items include two bags of rice, six cartons canned soft drinks, one carton powdered dry milk, two cartons mosquito insecticide spray, one bag onions, twelve crates bottled water and one carton each of bathing soap and toothpaste.

 

In this remarks, the Chairman of Dream Team Dr. Foday Bangso said the Dream Team is here to change the pace of football in the country, adding that that is why they were giving support to the future national team of Sierra Leone.

 

He said as a former player, he still has the passion for the players who are active in the game, maintaining that these items will serve as a boost for the U-20 as they are now in camp adding that good food and sound mind will help the boys to eliminate their Senegalese counterparts this weekend.

The Team Manager of FC Kallon who is also the motivator of the Dream Team, Tunde Scott said they were donating these items in order to identify and motivate the players.

He revealed that they have a lot of plans in mind for the U-17, U-20 and the national team and that it was only left with the players to cooperate with them and make this nation proud.
