Armed Robbers Arrested At Gbere Junction

Three notorious armed robbers, Sorie Bangura, Mohamed Kamara, and Santigie Mansaray, have been arrested for terrorizing Gbere junction and the surroundings.  According to police sources, the three suspects have been subjecting the township and the whole area to restless nights and fear as they were responsible for most of the  havoc that was been wrecked on the Gbere community on a daily basis.

These sources further reveal that whenever these men are in town they will settle at gambling grounds and it was during these gambling exercises that they will disappear and commit offences in the village.

Luck however ran out for them last Wednesday when the police at Gbere junction headed by A.S.P. Sheriff Conteh got a tip off that armed robbers were in the environs. They wasted no time but headed for the gambling ground where they arrested the suspects.

Meanwhile another suspect Mohamed Kargbo, who was also arrested together with these men in now detained and helping the Rogbere police in their investigations.
