Mrs. Agnes Iye Fornah, and Mr. George Campbell, both bagged certificates of merit for serving the Sierra Leone Brewery Ltd., for a period of 10 years. Whereas Mr. Dominic Strasser, and Mr. Kobi Walker, both were award certificates for their 15 years long service to the company. The longest serving personnel award went to Mr. Sallu Bah who has served the company diligently for 30 years.

Mr. A.O.U. Collier, Human Resource Manager, Sierra Leone Brewery Limited (SLBL), in his congratulatory remarks stated that the five personnel have always been diligent in their services despite the company’s high demand for quality service delivery at all times.

He therefore noted that the awardees shall each be receiving cash prizes with medals.

Mr. Collier thanked participants for gracing the occasion and expressed optimism for the organization of more awarding ceremonies in the future.

Dr. Mbonu, admonished the workers that the longer they serve in the company the more it is expected to inculcate a sense of belonging, which is always a force of motivation. “We must give credit to the spouses and family members of these revered employees who without doubt must have contributed in their own way in ensuring that the company continues to meet difficult conditions under which we are operating”, Dr. Mbonu stressed. “The company on its own part will strive to continue to be an attractive employer for the mutual benefit of all stakeholders,” he added.

The vote of thanks was done by Mrs. Agnes Iye Fornah.
