Plea for School Building in Bo

SchoolneedingRehab.jpgAuthorities of the Muslim Brotherhood Primary School in Bo, Nikibu Section, Njagboima area, (commonly called Katanga), Southern Sierra Leone, are currently rehabilitating their school structure that was damaged by a heavy storm last year.

The storm removed the entire roof of the school building.

Community people in Njagboima told Sierra Express that the school has been of great help to them. Following the destruction of the school by the storm, learning has not been as effective as the children lack proper accommodation facilities. The parents said the situation needs a speedy response so that their children start going to school again as the rains are very near.

Despite plenty of effort by the Head teacher, Mr. J.K. Momoh, to put the school building in place before the rainy season, it is evident that some massive help should be rendered.

The head teacher in a preoccupied mood told Sierra Express that he and his staff are frustrated over the sad incident.

Mr. Momoh said any body that has a helping hand to offer is encouraged to do so as that will be a good contribution for the education of children in that part of the country.

In the interim, the head teacher has deduced a two-shift plan so that the pupils can use the limited space that is available for the time being.
