A bomb
that was recently discovered at Gbalamuya, very close to the Sierra Leone/Guinea border was diffused last week by Sierra Leone
Military personnel.
A military expatriate attached to the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces
(RSLAF) Armed Engineering Regiment carried the operation.
The bomb was discovered by some traders plying the border
route some time last month.
It is said that the bomb was dug central of the border some seven years back
during the civil interregnum.
