Fighting Over Land

Serious fighting has ensued at Rotifunk Village in the Gbinleh Dixon Chiefdom in Kambia over a land dispute. Sierra Express was informed that one Abu Marie was constructing his house at Kambia II Checkpoint when a group of irate men surfaced and demolished the building. Abu Marie told Sierra Express that the demolishing of the building was followed by a merciless beating by the unknown men.

Details of this action are sketchy but our sources said that the irate men claimed ownership of the land.

Meanwhile, the matter is been handled by the police as investigation is ongoing.
