Ahead Of Local Council Election July 5th Constituency 97 Denounce One Candidate for Alleged Money Scandal

The Executive and entire membership of Constituency 97 Youth Development Organization has condemned Mr. Mohamed J. Tholley as an aspirant for APC symbol for Ward 350.

According to the youth chairman, Sheka Kargbo the said candidate is facing problems with the constituency Executive and Hon. Victoria Saidu Kamara of that constituency over alleged money scam.

Tholley is facing two 2 count charges with members of the A.P.C Executive in constituency 97, firstly for lack of transparency and accountability regarding Le. 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand Leones), which is meant for Peacock Farm youth, that participated in the January end of month cleaning exercise.

He said they are holding an executive youth meeting to file positive actions to the APC party head office so that this particular candidate should not be in the category of those who will be awarded the Sun Symbol for the Local Council Election on July 5th this year. The purpose of the meeting is to forge the way forward for the development of the constituency and the youth in particular.

According to Mr. Mohamed J. Tholley, he accepted that receiving the said money, which he disbursed to youths who took part in the end of January cleaning exercise.
