“We can do it if only all hands are put on deck
for the development and betterment of the constituency, the sky’s our limit.” This is according to the Chairman
of the Wellington Muslim Association (WMA) and also Chairman of the Action Aid Wellington Development Organisation Mr. Edward
Mohamed Sesay, who declared for the Councillorship in Constituency 79 Ward 350, when making his statement at the Boston Complex,
Wellington on Saturday 27 March where about 500 APC people and others from different places to heard his declaration.
He said he has played a vital; role in the community over the past decade and knows the problems the community is facing.
He further said his intention is not for selfish reasons or either for his family, but for the benefit of the community.
According
to him he has fast tracked imminence development aspects in that constituency over the past years, to name a few are different
Primary School at Consider Lane Calaba town, Hill Top Primary School and Primary School at Wellington and Rokupa Community.
He assured the citizens and executive members of the APC Constituency 97 that he is the right choice for that ward
and he has the potential to speak at council level for the good and development aspect of Ward 350.
In his
capacity as Chairman Mr. Conteh said they are the shark bones in that community to commence propagates the good image of the
party. He encourages all to stay calm and be peaceful to allow sentiment from the issuing of symbols noting that at the end
of the day we all are equally important.
Representing the Hon. in that constituency the Vice Chairman Mr. Micheal J.
Munu said, they are suckling mothers to all aspirants in each ward. He encourages all to stay focused and choose the right
candidate. He encourages SLPP supporters to lend them their democratic will and vote during the July 5th local
council elections for development reasons.
