Africell Donates US $9,000 to Amputees

Single Amputee National Teams Brings Home Runners Up Trophy

 

The Chief Commercial Officer of Africell, Joe Amara Bangalie, has disclosed that his company has decided to provide financial support to the Single Leg Amputee Sports Club in order to make their dream come true.

 

Bangalie (Jr.) made this statement at Mamba Point, Wilberforce, on the occasion of the handing over of the runner-up trophy by the Single Leg Amputee Sports Club following their return to the just concluded Amputee African Nations Cup tournament in Monrovia. Liberia.

 

Mr. Joe Amara Bangalie further stated that they recognized the keen interest that the United Nations has in the affairs of the team; we are always ready to collaborate with them in order to develop the club.

 

On behalf of the management and staff Africell, he congratulated the team bringing home the runners-up trophy of the second Amputee African Nations Cup tournament.

 

The president of Single Leg Amputee Sports Club, Jabati Mambu, expressed appreciation to Africell for making it possible to participate in the competition in providing them US$9,000 which added impetus to their trip.
