Moyamba Cold Room Contract - Musa Tarawally to be Indicted

HonMusaTarawally.jpgThe Minister of Presidential Affairs - South, Hon. Musa Tarawally, has been required by residents of Moyamba to fully explain the status of a contract that was awarded to him to construct Cold Room for Fishing for the Moyamba community.

According to our reporter, Hon. Musa Tarawally in the capacity as SLPP Member of Parliament (MP) was awarded the contract to construct Cold Room all over the country; Moyamba inclusive but that has not been completed since.  It is said that Musa Tarawally had started constructing the Cold Room but suddenly stopped for reasons he may explain to the Anti- Corruption Commission (ACC) when the case is being brought to their attention by the people of Moyamba.

"We are mystified by the fact that the Cold Room is missing" a Moyamba resident spoke to our reporter on anonymity.  Reports say that the proposed site for the construction of the Cold Room has been converted by Musa Tarawally for the construction of a house for himself.  "We are going to draw the attention of His Excellency the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, and the ACC, for the quick intervention into the matter,” Alpha Mansaray, a school treasurer warned.

According to investigations carried out by Sierra Express, several contracts were awarded to Musa Tarawally when he was SLPP MP which have not been completed.  The construction of prison quarters around the country, the construction of Fire Force buildings, and the supply of vehicles to several ministries are yet to be honored.  There are several other contracts that are supposed to be completed.  This media is investigating and will report in subsequent publications.
