I am innocent of the accusation-Obreh

Leone Star Captain, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo has denied allegation of match fixing.  He was accused by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the Sports Ministry of fixing a match against South Africa in the 2008 in a Nation’s Cup qualifier in Johannesburg which ended goalless. He was accused together with goalkeeper, Christian Caulker, Marcel Koroma and Samuel Barlay

The outspoken captain said he is not a match fixer and will never be one till God’s kingdom come.  He called on the authority to come out with evidence or otherwise consider the allegation as a ploy to destroy his 16 years football career regardless of what he had done for his Country.

In a telephone interview,  Obreh Kargbo noted that he has informed FIFA about the match fixing scandal and if proven not guilty will definitely take action against the plotters.
